This is great! I wanted something that I could just drop into one of my 3d printers to power my Raspberry Pi without needing a separate AC plug. This worked perfectly!

I love building little electronic devices and thought I had a nice setup where I could test 5v devices. But adding DC barrel jacks to the ends of this made it so easy to use that I’ve put my wall chargers and cables away and just use this with a 24v DC adapter. Now I only have one wire in my workspace.

I used this product as part of a hardwire power installation of my Ring alarm entry keypad. The wires were thinner than I expected but the Wago connectors I also bought still worked with those wires.

I used the USB-C model for a Raspberry Pi 4 with a 12 volt power source. I built a small NAS (network attached storage) which uses a Raspberry Pi 4, 3.5 inch spinning hard drives, and a computer case fan. This allows me to run the Raspberry Pi with only a 12 volt power source, so all components in the NAS can use the same power source.
I haven’t tested the power output, but it the Pi hasn’t shown any issues when under load, so I’d say it’s probably sufficient for most workloads.

Paired with an “add-a-circuit” to wire into the ignition fuse. Works good so far and no more wires to the cigarette lighter.

I was looking for a dedicated usb-c charger for my S22 Ultra phone. I tried using a cigarette lighter adapter but it wasn’t charging the phone. I really didn’t want to use something like that anyway because most of them aren’t water resistant/proof. This little unit was a lot smaller than I had imagined but that isn’t a bad thing it’s actually a plus in my case. I tested the unit before installation just to be sure it was working. I already had a small hole on my inner fairing that I used to pass the usb-c charging cable through and sealed up around the cord. On the inside of the fairing I found where I was going to mount the unit itself and I used hot glue to secure it. I did have to lengthen the positive and negative feed wires to make sure that I could reach the power source that I was going to use. I have it wired to a power source that is only active when the ignition is on. It works perfectly for what I needed it for.
