I have had this speaker for over three years, and it still works great.
I have it hanging in my shower and it has had some pitfalls. The suction cup would get dirty after a while and just drop the unit into the tub. This happened about every three months until I finally put it on the lanyard to just hang. Out of all those drops, nothing changed at all with functionality or sound quality. It’s pretty tough. I was concerned in the beginning how it would take being left in that damp environment at all times. There was no need to worry. The rubber covers over the connections keep everything sealed.
I only use it during a shower, so 15, 20 minutes max, but the battery lasts for about two months.
The sound is very good for the size. The only thing I would do different would be to make it able to run two of them at the same time. The stereo from that would sound really good.

This product was definitely well worth the money for me I love listening to music in the shower and was so happy when I received it. In first using it the sound and quality was decent for the price though I do wish it could get louder. I use it nearly everyday and the quality of the sound hast changed the battery life last a while too I used it for two weeks and some days without having to charge it. One thing I will say is I wish it read out the contact name of the person calling I have been caught in an unwanted phone call or two because of this. I will also say it is unfortunate that the adjustable button for the string isn’t actually real and doesn’t work so it slides up and down on its own as it pleases not providing any real support, I haven’t run into a situation where I actually need it so it doesn’t bother me much but if it’s not going to work why have it there 🤷🏽‍♀️ now I will close off saying that definitely for the price it’s a great product and gets the job done well

I actually bought the purple speaker THREE years ago! It’s survived falls and being in the shower and moves lol unfortunately 2 days ago it fell and just completely stopped working. It’s got great battery life and sound quality!! So after 3 years and this happening I’m not even mad; it’s definitely worth the money. This time I bought the black one and it’s so sleek and pretty. The purple one I got 3 years ago had the universal charging port but the new black one I just got had the UB-C port and it came with its own charger!! This product is literally one of my favorites! 10/10 recommend!!

I bought this INSMY speaker to replace a JBL Micro Wireless I had for years until it finally started and to croak. I wanted something waterproof and similar in style and quality to my old one, so I was delighted to find this. I got the speaker in pastel purple and I’m so pleased with how it sounds. It’s *VERY* comparable in sound quality but is more stylish than my old JBL. I can’t hear much of a difference— the INSMY one might sound a little better actually— but I’m no audiophile.

Battery life seems to be adequate (I use it when I’m showering or getting ready in the bathroom and think I have to charge maybe once every two weeks). I like that is has a USB-C charge port rather than a micro USB. I think the volume buttons and other controls would have been better on the side of the speaker rather than on the back, and a skip/rewind button would have been nice. I don’t take it all the way into the shower with me though so I usually just use my phone as the control anyway.

It does take just *slightly* longer to connect to bluetooth than my JBL, but it’s such a negligible difference I don’t think it bother the average user.

These would make great gifts or stocking stuffers around the holidays. If you’re thinking about spending the money on JBL or a similar brand, I highly recommend trying this one out first. Great value for the price.

Great speaker for the price. Portable and sound quality is good. Sometimes I use it in the shower and have not have had any issues with it getting wet. Comes with a small suction cup and the lanyard is good and durable

Nice water proof speaker…sound quality is fine. The Bluetooth works very well. Inexpensive decent sound…if you need one this one works well

I got this specifically for listening to audiobooks in the shower (which can be a great coping tool for folks with anxiety). The charge is holding well, pairing was easy; definitely recommend.

This is a great little speaker with decent sound. I use this speaker in the shower and it has been great. I love the teal green color and it is quite sturdy. I recommend it.
